Award winning harpist Paula Popa has performed in front of HRH The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Princess Marina Sturdza of Romania, Lord Eddie George (former governor of the Bank of England) to name but a few.
Having won five 1st prizes in the UK and Romania, she has gone on to perform solo recitals in some of the most prestigious venues in London including Saint-Martin-in-the-Fields, Saint James's Piccadilly, Saint John's Smith Square, Victoria & Albert Museum and the National Gallery.
Paula has had her orchestral debut with the National Radio Chamber Orchestra in Bucharest performing Boieldieu's Harp Concerto and with the Winchmore String Ensemble in London performing Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto. She has graduated with Honors her Undergraduate Degree, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters Degrees in Advanced Performance from the Royal College of Music, London, under the guidance of internationally renowned harpist Ieuan Jones.
